Classroom module 1 – Alternative legumes and pulses and, minor crops (half day):

•    Pea and faba beans
•    Chickpeas, lentils and soy
•    Alternative protein sector and activities
•    Triticale, rye, durum, buckwheat, quinoa and kernza
•    Ahiflower, borage and high value speciality oilseeds
•    Bi-cropping

Classroom module 1 – Fibre crops (half day):

•    Glasshouse tour to see some of the crops
•    Hemp licence
•    Hemp agronomy and markets (fibre and oil)
•    Flax agronomy and markets
•    Limitations and challenges for minor crop agronomy
•    Other research and funding opportunities
•    Commercial partners
